We have had our new baby, Miko for a week and a half. She is everything we had hoped for! Smart, confident, not afraid of anything and a total joy! We are so pleased with her. Thank you Ingrid for letting us have her.

We have had our beautiful kittens, Amber and Topaz, for 6 months now and we couldn't be happier with our choice of breed and breeder. Our pair have tons of personality, are sociable but not demanding and love nothing better than being petted. Everyone who sees them remarks on their cute smiling faces and beautiful plushy coats. Now, if we could just persuade them to exercise their legs on the expensive cat wheel instead of by jumping on the counter.....
Thanks to Ingrid, Michelle and Ken for their care and attention in producing such healthy and well socialized kittens. Their feline friendship and happy purrs are a comfort in these challenging times.

I was wondering if my cat might have spent some months visiting your fine establishment. I live nearby and am happy to see her don't her rumschpringa

Ingrid and the team behind Raincoastca Cattery provided us with the most amazing experience in adopting Max. They are patient and friendly and it shows in the care of their cats. Max came to us with so much confidence and gusto that he literally took no time adjusting to his new home. He is so friendly and just loves being around people. He'll even sit in the center of a crowded room to get attention. Everyday we're entertained and calmed by Max after a long day at work. Our cat sitters tell us he's just the most therapeutic cat to have around, and it's true! He makes us laugh all the time. We are so in love with Max. Thank you Raincoastca!

Many thanks to Ingrid and Hans for our lovely kitten, Edison. He fit into the family right away and has such a gentle, sweet nature. He loves to jump, "hunt" and play with our two young boys but also has been an important factor in reducing our one son's anxiety. Edi is very social and loves to be right where you are in the house. He often flops down at our feet and rolls over on his back with his paws up looking super cute! He communicates with a whole repertoire of grunts and gurgles and meows when he wants a treat (raw steak is his favourite). Edi loves to snuggle up at night and purr softly. He will often gently put a paw on your cheek or hand to show affection. On top of his amazing personality, we also think he is the most beautiful cat! Your love and care for the breed definitely shine through in your cats. We are so happy we found Raincoast Cattery!

Our cats Louis and Charlotte are 1 year old today! They are both happy and healthy and are a wonderful addition to our home. They bring us so much happiness :) They both have developed great and very different personalities.

Louis likes to be picked up and cuddled, but Charlotte prefers to stay on the ground. Charlotte loves to be pet and purrs like crazy, whereas Louis is silent. He grunts and makes funny breathing noises which we think is way of showing affection instead of purring. Charlotte is smaller and trim. Louis is HUGE! Charlotte is much vocal and meows for attention, but Louis has never once made a single cry. He is also much more content to sit a little farther away, while Charlotte prefers to stay close by and lap up any pets she cat get. Although Louis certainly has his moments of incredible affection. He is also the better hunter fore sure - beating Charlotte to all the treats, toys, flies, and mice (if there were any).

They are quite the Characters! Thank you both so much for helping us find such amazing cats and for making the adoption experience so great.

With the permission of Larry, the owner of Lily I am putting a letter from Larry in the guest book. Enjoy reading.
"Good morning Ingrid;
Lily wanted to say a great big morning to you too! I was very pleased to wake up Larry this morning at my usual time of 6:30am. Last night I slept on the pillow his sister gave him and I stuck a paw in his ear then on his nose just to make sure his eyes opened up then opened up my purring machine. Smile. Sorry he is not very good at pictures but I must have grown a lot and Jean his neighbor says my coat has become a wee bit lighter in color. I like the wet food a bit more thenC the dry stuff but occasionally get a treat and even some bits of cooked chicken and raw steak he called it. I wear a small collar for a few days and then not for a few days and it has a bell on it. I have had 2 finger baths and 2 treats after each one, yummy! I run over all the house after breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and sleep then play some more. So far I like this home but think of you often. Larry talked about getting my nails clipped but not sure when yet. I am going to meet the Vet next month to get a checkup and a weigh in, and more food. He just needs to get Jean to take a picture of me having a great ride on Larry’s shoulder where there is some good views of the world. Larry made me a tunnel thing out of cardboard where I hide all the toys he gives me to play with (He doesn’t know where I hide them(! Smile I just have a hard time rembering not to jump up onto the counters as he does not like it and he is afraid of something up there for me but I can be really quiet when I want to. Ha Ha
So far so good at this guy’s home
Cheers
Lily

Hello Ingrid,
Yesterday our neighbour, Rob, was at the lake yesterday visiting with us and as he was leaving, he noticed Teddy (T Boy), our wonderful British blue from your cattery, sitting on a cushion next to the patio door. He mentioned that he was not really a cat person, but he still bent over to give Teddy a pat. Ted just kept looking at him so Rob petted him some more and commented that Ted's fur felt like a plush carpet – and Teddy just sat still and let Rob continue to pet him and kept looking up at him. And then Rob said, "he has such a round face, he is such a nice looking cat, as he kept petting him. Ted just kept watching him and smiling and Rob then said, "And he just stays so still and doesn’t run away” and kept petting him.
So my husband, Paul, said, “Yes, Rob, I can see you really aren’t a cat person”.
So Rob looked sheepish and said, "well maybe just this cat", and laughed.

And then Ted jumped down and rubbed around Rob's ankles and looked up at him so Rob had to stay a moment longer and could not go out the door.
Another of Teddy’s conquests!

Teddy's calm personality and handsome appearance make a lasting impression on everyone who meets him. The extra time and loving care you provide the kittens raised in your home has a lasting effect on their temperament that makes them wonderful and treasured family pets;even to cat fancier champion standard.
Your knowledge and care in managing impeccable breeding lines for your cats has wowed cat fanciers in North America and the list of awards continues to grow. Your cats have impressed so many judges!
Champions with wonderful personalities - that is why your kittens are spoken for well in advance of their arrival. Congratulations!

Hi Hans and Ingrid,
Beautiful website.
Mozart will be staying with me and his brother Beethoven and Lulu for the next 2 months. I am in heaven being surrounded with these gorgeous blue and lilac British Shorthair cats from your cattery, which is the best and most ethical cattery I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with.
Big Hugs
